Earth's Healing Touch: Detoxify & Cool Your Body with Mud
From ancient times, Earth (Prithvi) has been known as a powerful healer. Our sterilized, mineral-rich mud packs draw out heat, toxins, and inflammation instantly.
Why Put Mud on Your Body?
It sounds primitive, but Mud Therapy is pure science. The mud we use is not dirt from the ground; it is specially sourced from 4-5 feet underground (free from contamination), dried in the sun, powdered, and sieved. It is rich in minerals like Zinc, Sulphur, and Magnesium.
How it works:
Mud has two key properties: it holds moisture for a long time (providing coolness) and it has a powerful absorbent capacity (drawing out toxins). It is the best natural remedy for constipation, skin diseases, and high body heat.
Our Mud Treatments
Mud Pack (Local Application)
Applied to specific areas like the abdomen (for digestion), eyes (for strain), or joints (for inflammation). It cools the local area and absorbs toxic heat.
Full Body Mud Bath
The entire body is covered in a paste of mud and allowed to dry in the sun. As it dries, it tightens the skin, opens pores, and draws out deep-seated impurities. It's like a reset button for your skin.
Hot Mud Pack
Heated mud is applied to stiff joints and painful muscles. The combination of heat and minerals penetrates deep to relieve chronic pain and stiffness.
Sand Bath
Similar to mud, hot sand immersion is used for Rheumatic Arthritis to induce sweating and reduce pain.
Benefits of Mud Therapy
Cures Constipation
A cold mud pack on the abdomen tones the intestines and creates a peristaltic movement, relieving chronic constipation.
Skin Healing
The minerals in mud are excellent for Psoriasis, Eczema, Urticaria, and Acne. It reduces itching and inflammation.
Eye Care
Mud packs on the eyes relax the optic nerve, reduce screen strain, and help with dark circles and myopia.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the mud hygienic?
Yes. The mud is sourced from deep underground, dried, powdered, and sterilized. We never reuse mud for different patients to prevent cross-contamination.
Will it make me cold?
Local cold mud packs are cooling. However, if you have a cold, cough, or sinus issue, we avoid cold packs. We may use hot mud packs instead.
How long is the treatment?
A mud pack is typically kept for 20-30 minutes. A full body mud bath takes about 45-60 minutes including drying time and shower.
Can I do it at home?
You can apply simple mud face packs at home. However, therapeutic packs for medical conditions require specific consistency and temperature control, best done at the clinic.
